Andrew Marshall /

Andrew Marshall, brought up in Scotland, moved to Asia in 1993. His stories for Time and other magazines probe the flipside of economic miracles: dictatorship, corruption, human right abuses, small wars. His book, The Trouser People is a political travelogue of a Burma few people know. After watching corpses float downriver after the 2008 cyclone in Burma, he saw climate change as journalism’s greatest challenge.
